I am SO very GRATEFUL for...

Nov. 1st ...a husband who will kill bugs and spiders for me.
Nov. 2nd ...Grandparents and the opportunity to know them for so much of my life and for them to know my children. I send my love to all of my AMAZING Grandparents! And I send a sweet thought to Julio's Abuela... we love you and we will miss you!
Nov. 3rd ...Google maps! I got to listen to my husband and his mom reminisce all night about when he was young while looking at all their old homes and families homes and places they used to go using Google maps. It was wonderful to hear they laughing and having a good visit.
Nov. 4th ...audio books. So I can sneak off into a happy little place anytime I need or want to.
Nov. 5th ...for play dates! I needed to get out of the house and it was so good to have a nice visit with a new friend. Shay had a great time with her buddy too!
Nov. 6th ...2 hour naps in the middle of the afternoon. Yep, my hunny let me sleep that long... THANKS babe!
Nov. 7th ...Daylight saving "fall back". Although I have to get up at an earlier time, it forces me to get up and get going earlier which means I will get more done. At least that is what I'm hoping for. We actually made it to our 1:00 church on time which I don't remember the last time we did that.
Nov. 8th ...my sense of humor even if my daughter doesn't think it is "normal".
Nov. 9th ...Shay's 'smarty pants'! We worked with her but not as hard as I thought. Shay had her parent teacher conference today and we were blown away with how well she is doing. The teacher didn't have one thing to say bad about Shay and is going to be putting her in a special advanced computer course so she doesn't get board. Mrs. Miller said that she is the class nurse and is always helping the kids that get injured. That doesn't surprise me... she acts like a mom to other kids and has always wanted to be a doctor although now she says she wants to be a teacher. Shay really LOVES school and I'm couldn't be a prouder mom of her.
Nov. 10th ...for a cool new antenna that is the size of a notebook. I'm happy we canceled cable and Julio talked me into getting an antenna to see what "the box" would pick up. Surprise... we get all the local channels including tons of others! So for a one time $30... no more cable bill. Julio is grateful for football again and I'm grateful for cartoons! hehe :D
Nov. 11th ...for the early ride up to Idaho with my parents and Robin. Even one extra day of visiting, crafting, scrapbooking, and girl time is awesome in my book.
Nov. 12th ...a crafty sister. THANKS Kendra for teaching me how to make those amazing flowers!!
Nov. 13th ...a heater. Baby... it's cold outside!
Nov. 14th ...for Skype! How cool it will be to be able to chat with my brother James while he is over seas serving our country! I'm get to talk with him while seeing him... very cool!
Nov. 15th ...eBay! It is wonderful that I have the opportunity and talent to create scrapbook layouts to sell to supplement my families income AND I get to stay home with our children while doing it. Honestly, some days I want to go to work for more money, a bit of the social aspect, and my sanity, but I truly wouldn't trade getting to watch my kids grow up!! I LOVE being a mom and I am SO very grateful for being able to bare healthy and beautiful children that make me laugh on a daily basis. Along with Julio, they are my world! BTW... I just sold a layout for almost $50! on eBay! Yep, I'm doing a happy dance!!
Nov. 16th ...an early Christmas gift from my parents (Denny and Mandy). By the end of the day, we will have plenty of beef in our freezer to last a year!!
Nov. 17th ...a friend that will pick up Shay and take her to Kindergarten for me... everyday and not ask for anything in return. If she didn't, I'd have to walk in the cold with two kids because I only have one car at the moment. THANK you friend for being so kind and thoughtful!
Nov. 18th ...a little boy that makes me laugh so hard it makes my cheeks hurt! I LOVE that Kaydence laughs at the most silly things that a "normal" person wouldn't think twice about laughing at. His laugh is so contagious and I sure do love that about him!
Nov. 19th ...the cold. If it didn't get cold, we couldn't wrap up in a soft blanket, sip hot chocolate with whipped cream and marshmallows and snuggle while watching a good chick flick!
Nov. 20th ...snow! I LOVE that we get so much snow here. I love how snow blankets everything and makes it look clean and beautiful! I miss the beautiful scene I would wake up to in Hyrum after a big snow storm. We would look out of the window at the whole Cache Valley to see a blue sky and a blanket of white over everything. It still is one of the most beautiful sites I've seen.
Nov. 21st ...having a Heavenly Father that loves me and knowing that I am a child of God, no matter how old I get. :) I am grateful that I live so close to church that I can walk, especially knowing that others have to drive LONG distance's just to go.
Nov. 22nd ...having a grocery store so near my home.
Nov. 23rd ...naps! I seriously LOVE a good long nap. The only down side is that it takes so much time out of your day that you feel like you accomplished nothing, but still SO worth it! (And no, I did not get a nap today but I did daydream about one for most of the day!)
Nov. 24th ...neighbors! My furnace wasn't working today and I am NOT a handy person and Julio was at work. I ran over to my grumpy neighbors house and asked for help. It may have taken him awhile to get there but I am so grateful he did. He fixed the problem and we had heat again. Neighbors are the very best!
Nov. 25th ...THANKSGIVING!! I really think if we didn't have this simple holiday, we wouldn't be as thankful for everything we have. I truly am most thankful for my family... all of my family down to all my cousins, aunts, uncles, brothers, sisters, parents, grandparents, husband, and kids. With out ALL of them, I wouldn't be the person they all have helped shape me into. I'm not perfect and I LOVE it that way. I am thankful I am unique and I have the talents I do. I am most grateful for my Heavenly Father and the plan he has for us and that we can live with him once more with our families for forever!

I'm am GRATEFUL for my husband and the way he treats me, my children and all those around him. Julio is so generous with everyone, he don't tell secrets or gossip, he is the most patient person I know. When it comes to our children, Julio is the best. As I type he is upstairs coloring with them and praising them. He works so hard to provide for us. Julio may come across as shy and he may be a little but I look at him as being reserved and a good listener. When he comes home everyday from work, he is always happy and ready to love us and play with us! I couldn't say enough wonderful things about that man that I LOVE more then anything! Well, next to our kids!

I am SO very grateful to be blessed with Shay and Kaydence. They are my 2 favorite kids in the whole world! That Shay is a bright little girl with a lot of drama and sensitivity, but those are some of the best parts of her. My "Shady" is a social butterfly, her feeling get hurt easily, she is a nurse at heart, she is a "mom" to everyone, she gets easily embarrassed, she is smart, and when it comes to jokes, she isn't the brightest but still laughs at every one. I couldn't tell you everything about my bright little unique star, Shay, if I had all day!

Now my little monkey, Kaydence, is truly a boy. I never really knew the personality difference between boys and girls until this little monster came along. My "Kayde" is a lover AND a fighter. He has the biggest and best hugs and kisses to give along with a body slam after. When it comes to his sister, to whom he also calls "Shady", he LOVES her so much that he will wrestle with her anytime but will snuggle and love her too. Kayde is ruff and tough but soft and gentle, he loves to sing and dance, his laugh is contagious and makes your heart melt, he is a flirt, he is timid more then he is shy, and when it comes to being our son, he is the VERY best that I could EVER ask for!

I am so very THANKFUL and GRATEFUL for so many things that it will take me eternity to express them all and I'm happy with that! Happy Thanksgiving to all my dear friends and family!

-Kate
