Shay's "Family" Bday Party

When Shay opened up the present that my Grandma got her, I couldn't believe it! I had to take a closer look at it. It was a Cinderella book. When I was little, she got me a VERY similar book. I ran downstairs and got it out of storage. It is one of the few things I still have from when I was a child... we had a house fire when I was a Sophomore in High School where we lost almost everything, but that book was spared. I looked in it to see the inscription that I know my Grandma had put and I couldn't believe my eyes... I was the SAME AGE as Shay is now when I got the book. Yes the colors are different but the pop ups that are inside were VERY similar along with the story. The publisher is the same and both made in Czechoslovakia! My Grandma had forgotten that she got me the book until I reminded her, so it was pure coincidence! I think it is because me and my Grandma are kindred spirits... our Birthdays are only a day apart! What a very cool thing to happen among 3 generations!
