Shay has been so excited about this day! She has been looking forward to it since the beginning of October. She would tell me everyday that "tomorrow is Halloween!" I tell you, it is hard to teach the calendar days but she is learning and getting a better idea about how it works. Shay told me that today was Halloween and I told her the today is Preschool and Church Halloween (Julio and I are on the Activities Committee and help with the Trunk or Treat) and tomorrow is the real Halloween. She couldn't believe it, but she was still so excited that she gets to dress up all day today and tomorrow and get tons of candy!! I'm so excited too... our kids are so adorable!! I really do enjoy Halloween because of how fun it is for the kids!
By the way, Kaydence is going to be a Dragon, thanks to Sherry for giving us the costume! Shay wanted to be a ladybug at first and then Arile, but in the end she just wanted to be a witch again. So I asked her if it would be alright if she just wore the costume I made last year and she was happy with that. I was happy with that too, although it would have been fun to make another costume, but there is always next year!
I look at these pictures and she looks too old, it must be the makeup. Shay really needs to stop growing! Although I'm happy that she is so beautiful! She really does have Julio's coloring and look... man she is sure pretty, not just today but everyday! Today is sure a good day!
