We are SO proud of our wonderful Julio who received Employee of the Month at his job. As the one big perk, he got lucky and got a couple of awesome sponsor tickets to go to a Jazz game. Even better, it is against the Lakers!! We were SO excited to be getting the chance to go on a real date! It included dinner and some pretty good seats! Add having the luck of a babysitter, we were planning to have a pretty good time.
So the morning of the big game, I was visiting my friend Ashley at her house, when Kaydence decided to get sick and throw up! To make matters worse, he didn't stop pucking for most of the day. I called Julio and had to cancel our much anticipated date! :( sniff :( sniff :(
Luckily, the tickets didn't go to waste. Julio called his friend, Torrey, who was able to come over the mountain with such short notice. They had a great time, especially since the Jazz WON!! YEAH!! I stayed at Grandma and Grandpa Lund's house with the kids. Kayde didn't get much better, poor guy. He ended up being sick for 10 days with some kind of stomach bug that had me cleaning the carpet, his sheets, our sheets, and an endless supply of towels and clothes!! Wow, that was not fun!! But Kayde is now better and Julio and Torrey had a super good time!! Thanks Torrey, for being Julio's date!! lol ;) Now, all we need is a bit of luck and maybe someday, someday soon, Julio and I can go on a date!! :)
