Shay has been Kiddie Tagged,

so I'm supposed to tell you 5 things about her...

1. Shay is very creative. Like most kids she loves to play with anything crafty or artsy. When she gets her hands on play dough, paint, or even her crayons... her creative imagination goes to work. Shay loves to draw everyone in her family. I love when she draws daddy and always makes sure he has his goatee. Hehehe! Sometimes while I'm hard at work scrapbooking, she'll come in and say she wants to "work" too, so she pulls a chair up to her "desk" and pulls out her very own Cuttlekids die cutting machine and gets to work or she'll stand on a chair next to me and watch me and help me when I need her.
2. Shay is very, VERY social. She loves to go outside and play with her "friends". Everyone is a friend as long as they are a kid. We can be in the doctors office and she will make a new friend with in a matter of minutes. It doesn't matter that she doesn't know them, everyone is a friend. Not only is everyone her friend but also her "best friend". I love it when she comes up to me and gives me a BIG hug and says... "Mommy, you are my Best Friend"! That would melt any heart!

3. Shay is very sensitive but also very headstrong. It seems like anytime you say one wrong thing, she takes it to heart and out pops the alligator tears. Most of the time, it is so sweet and it just breaks your heart right along with her. Although sometimes, she can have a bit of a temper behind those big beautiful tear filled eyes! If something upsets her, you are going to hear about it!! But it is always quickly resolved with any mention of a game or going outside. She usually doesn't stay mad very long.

4. Shay also loves her Heavenly Father and Jesus. She is a Sunbeam in church and loves to go to learn of the gospel and make new friends. She loves Family Home Evening. While we are driving, she loves to point out the churches and temples. I think her favorite song is I am a Child of God, she knows it all by hear. I love when she belts it out to Kaydence when he is crying and makes him settle right down. She says she want to go to the temple and I have no doubt she will someday!
5. Shay is such a good little helper. Especially when it comes to her little brother, Kaydence. She plays with him so well. In the car, Shay is so good to hold up his bottle so he won't drink the air. She loves to sing to him when he is unhappy and he always calms right down. And when he is asleep, she will hold his hand and softly touch it so he won't whimper. Shay also helps me around the house. She is always up to helping sweep and mop the floors, set and clear the dinner table, and wash the dishes.
